As part of their religious education the young monks recite the core prayers by heart and they also study Tibetan and English.

From September 2–8, 2026, Palpung Sherabling Tantric College students completed their annual exams on key Buddhist texts and poetics, along with torma making, ritual music, mandalas, and calligraphy.
