As the result of the collective effort and shared responsibility of all teachers and students of Palpung Sherabling Tantric College, this year's visual transmission classes on the performance of rituals have been successfully completed.
Following that, from January 22 to 24, 2023, the annual tantric college ritual performance examination was conducted for four days under careful supervision of specialized visual transmission teachers. The exams included the following subjects related to the Palpung ritual performance tradition: memorizing liturgical procedures and chanting sequences of various old and new tantras practiced at Palpung Monastic Seat; making tormas and ornaments along with their arrangements; playing various ritual instruments such as white and red conches, gyaling trumpets, flutes, and thigh-bone trumpets; drawing proportional designs and making sand mandalas; as well as performing sacred vajra dances and related rituals for the Tenth Day and Gutor Mahakala ceremonies.
