At the request of interested students from Palpung Sherabling Monastic Seat's Monastic College, Tantric College, and University of Buddhist Sciences, on July 23, 2023 Guru Vajradhara His Holiness the 12th Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa bestowed Getsul (novice) ordination to 96 upasakas at the monastic seat's main shrine hall.
Guru Vajradhara performed the ritual of bestowing Getsul ordination according to the doctrine of Vinaya in the manner of being both ordaining preceptor and ceremonial master, assisted by an assembly of the required number of monks serving as the interviewer, assistant preceptor, and so forth.
Furthermore, Guru Vajradhara bestowed the upasaka vows of refuge to the Three Jewels to 30 students of the Monastic Primary School, making their body a supreme support for holding the victory banner of ultimate liberation.
